DESCRIPTION
Center for Global Advanced Total Engineering Services (C-GATES) is an organization, which was formed in Bangalore, India and is a engineering services unit of M/s Shirvanthe Technologies Pvt Ltd. Currently in India we have corporate office at Bangalore and branch at naval belt of India i.e Vishakapatanam.

C-GATES is headed by Dr Bhaskar Sarma (CEO) who is well known expert available in the field of condition monitoring and rotor dynamics for rotating machineries in the country. He brings in around 30 years of Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd, India experience in both turbine design and Tribology. With prime focus being in the same area we tried to address this with support from CAD/CAE services. Few of the guys here were supporting Fortune 500 companies both onsite and offshore. With technical advisors in each field who has supported major OEMs, the team at C-GATES has strengths to interpret the final results of a project and also if required at site conditions. Currently we are close to 30 member team with 4000 sq ft working area having around additional 16000 sq ft area for future expansions.

C-GATES with its strategic approach is well poised to meet the growing challenges in power generation segment.

SKILLS
Services what we offer are:

I) Rotor Dynamics and Condition Monitoring
Rap test of structures like blades and other structural members.
Rotor dynamic calculations / investigations, balancing, failure investigations of rotating machinery. In house developed software codes for various calculations.

II) Development of critical components like pump and compressor impellers through re-engineering. We have been successfully developing these critical components for major OEMs backed up with validation support from technical advisors who have been in this area for quite some time.
Support could be ranging from conventional pumps of small capacity to boiler feed and sea water applications. Capabilities to organize pattern making and castings in India.

III) CAD (Computer Aided Design)
2D drafting/detailing, drawing conversion from paper or any other formats to specific softwares. 3D parametric modeling and assembly modeling
software skill sets include Unigraphics, Pro/E, IDEAS, CATIA and AutoCAD.

IV) CAE (Computer Aided Engineering)
Finite Element Modeling (FEM/meshing/grid generation). Finite Element Analysis (FEA) such as structural, static/dynamic, thermal, linear/non-linear, transient, modal, coupled field, impact, seismic and shock analysis. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) such as heat transfer, flow simulations, etc. Software skill sets in various tools such as ANSYS, GAMBIT, FLUENT.

V) Condition Monitoring Software Development and Selling.
In house developed online condition monitoring software with nural network based expert system. (This is as per the requirements of customers and depending on the parameters what they want to measure)
