Dalian Software Park, the "Software, BPO & ITES Center of North Asia".
Located in the higher education and culture zone of Dalian, Dalian Software Park is surrounded by numerous universities and research institutes. After its establishment in 1998, Dalian Software Park was certified and approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology as a key base for the "State High-Tech Torch-Plan for Software Industry " and Dalian as the "Model City for Internationalization of the Software Industry". As one of the 11 "National Software Industry Bases" and one of the five "National Software Export Bases" in China, Dalian Software Park has the honor of being the national software park featured by the highest level of development and internationalization.
Supported by preferential governmental policies, numerous pools of talented IT personnel, ample funding and an active market, Dalian Software Park provides for an exceptional setting for both domestic and overseas software, BPO and ITES enterprises. Currently, around 200 enterprises have settled in Dalian Software Park of which foreign enterprises account for over 32 percent and half of all enterprises in the park are engaged in software, BPO and ITES outsourcing services for North Asia and other regions. Neusoft, CS&S, Sunyard and many other renowned domestic software enterprises have set up their export bases here for the North Asia markets of Japan and Korea.
