History
KPIT Infosystems Limited was established in 1990 and merged with Cummins Infotech Limited, (a subsidiary of Cummins Inc., USA) in 2002, to form KPIT Cummins Infosystems Limited.

Since the past 15 years, we have been providing software solutions and services to clients worldwide. KPIT Cummins has its headquarters and development centers in India, with global subsidiaries in USA, UK, Asia Pacific and the Middle East.

Lineage
KPIT Cummins is a descendant of one of the most respected accounting firms in India – Kirtane & Pandit, Chartered Accountants (KPCA). Established in 1946, KPCA has been offering services to blue chip clients in the banking & financial industries. Renowned for their high levels of integrity and values, KPCA has the privilege of being the financial consultants to over 50 nationalized and private sector banks in India, including the Reserve Bank of India.
