• Upgrade the documents – move a set of documents from one environment to another. In many instances, the product documentation has evolved over a period of time and hence is available in various formats. All these may be converted into one format and the currently popular format is xml. We have considerable expertise in moving across various formats and are well-versed with the tools available for doing it.

Highlights of projects executed/being executed

• For a telecom product, created the content initially and later took on the maintenance of user documents in Framemaker, amounting to nearly 700 pages spread over six different books. Created four different versions of the product documents for three different clients and updated every other month. The releases are done using the Clear Case tool. The project has been executed over one year.
• For a web based product catalog tool, created user manual, installation manual, API reference manual and data dictionary manual totaling nearly 1000 pages in MS Word. Used javadoc on the java code to generate the html files and then generated PDF document for API Reference Manual. The documents were later updated and released for three versions of application upgrades.
• Created user manual, reference manual and online help for a set of development tools.
