SKILLS
* Over 20 years in academic journalism, newspapers and in technical (engineering) writing and journal production.
* Doctoral degree in social sciences with a graduate degree in physics and maths.
* Skills in content and copy editing, layout, writing. Especially adept at converting technical and medical copy into material that may be understood by graduate-level students, ensuring that no information is lost in the process.
* Content creation for websites and content editing and posting
* Skills in producing technical notes for employees.
* Also in producing press notes and kit presentation, press conference preparation.
* Experience in media and information management.
* Long experience in journal editing.

The aim of good editing is to make the copy readable and intelligible, paying attention to style, grammar and phraseology, without diluting or altering the content. This we believe applies to any editing job whether it is an academic article, a feature story or a press note.

TERMS
Prices: Depending on copy but usual prevailing rates will apply. Sample material needs to be sent.
Payment: Demand draft/attested checks or PayPal. Some part of the payment must be made at the time of sending the material.
Time: Depends on volume of work. Academic editing in the normal course, about 2000 words a day. Urgent work--especially taking advantage of time zone differences could have a 8 hour (or less) turnaround.
