DESCRIPTION
Bookkeeping:
This includes the maintenance of account books typically using accounting applications like QuickBooks™ and Peachtree™. The client provides scanned copies of documents such as bank and credit card statements, invoices and bills, payroll summary, payment vouchers, etc. These services can be provided on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual basis as per the clients' requirements.
Financial Statements:

Preparing financial statements is an extension of the bookkeeping function. The clients sometimes maintain books of accounts themselves and would like to get the financial statements prepared by a professional. These statements are prepared using US GAAP and other relevant accounting and auditing standards.
Account Set-up:
Account set-up means creating the books for a new company or in new accounting software from any other accounting software used previously. Account Set-up includes creating chart of accounts, entering company information and details about the vendors, customers and employees.

Account Reconciliation:
Account Reconciliation services include the final review of the books of accounts. After all the transactions have been taken care of for a financial year/period, the reconciliation of the same is done.
Bank Reconciliation:
Bank Reconciliation is normally a part of the bookkeeping function but again, can be treated as a separate function if the client wishes to. It includes reconciling the bank accounts at the end of each period, which can be a month, quarter, or a year.

Accounts Receivable / Payable Management:
Accounts Receivable / Payable Management, can also be treated as a separate accounting function. It includes tracking the accounts receivable and accounts payable separately, preparing the aging summary etc.

Financial / Operational Budget:
Financial and Operational Budgets are prepared as per the clients requirements. The budget period could vary from monthly, quarterly or annual. This would also include tracking the difference between the actual figure and the budgeted figure and trying to investigate into the reason for the difference.


Taxation:
Tax returns include filing Income Tax returns (both Federal and State), Payroll Returns, Estate Tax Returns and Sales and Use Tax Returns. Income Tax Returns can be prepared manually or by using Tax applications like ProSeries™.

US GAAP Reporting:
Under the US GAAP reporting the accounts are checked to verify whether they are maintained according to the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

Business Transaction Process:

SECURITY

• Citrix Metaframe services running in the server provide the client with a high level of security while working within the virtual desktop. All processes actually occur on the terminal server and not at the clients desktop. The only data that is sent back and forth between the terminal server and the user desktop is screen, key board, printer and mouse data. By default the data stream is compressed and encrypted.

• The clients' data at the server is backed up regularly and moved off-site to a remote location. This way real business continuity is ensured.

• Our facility's power supply is hooked up, to backup generator to protect against power failures.

• No one can have access to clients' data without their express permission.

• Each client's data is password-protected. They create their own password, so no one (not even our personnel) can see or have access to their password.

• Access to clients' data and applications is controlled by use of Active Directory (AD) Global Policies and NT file permissions. AD policies are used to provide clients with access to all the applications that they have subscribed to without allowing them access to any other. Data access is controlled by NT file permissions and share access permissions.
