PROFILE: Tilak Chandna & Co is a CA firm established in 1984.It has been engaged in continuous practice for over two decades.Presently it has four full time partners: all of them are fellow member of the ICAI. The firm was founded by Mr. Tilak Chandna, who qualified the final CA examination held in November1981. He has since been associated with the firm.He has been the main driving force of the firm successfully steering the firm to achieve skills,proficiency,and expertise across a wide spectrum of services.He has acknopwledged qualities of leadership,dynamism, inherent quest of moving towards excellence and a strong and ardent follower of ethical behavior.He has been making regular contributions in many seminars, conferences and gatherings of professionals.Besides, he has been a regular author of articles in many tax and managemnet journals.He has the honor of authoring two books on indirect taxes.
The firm has not only been able to set up departments into conventional area of practice of Auditing and Taxation but also it has always been in quest for setting up independent teams and units for catering to emerging areas of professional opportunities.It has trained manpower, equipped with necessary skills and abilities, to render professional services like project financing, loans and fund syndication,corporate and management advisory services, advising in IPO services, laying down procedures, systems, and documentation, putting in place managemnet information and reporting systems.In the course of professional practice the firm has been able to develop a deep insight into the processes and intricacies involved into the graduation of many small and medium concerns to large concerns. It has been very closely associated and been the part of the team and effort gone into by numbrt of such clients.It has thus won the trust and confidence of many entrepreneurs who are set to embark on journey to newer scales of enterprise.It has been the effort of the firm to build resources, imbibe technology and infrastructure over the years.But with the profession poised for new challenges and opporortunities in the new global scenario,the firm has recently taken a consciuos decision to take leap jumps and accelerate the growth strategy by making substantial investment in technology, infrastructure and resources.It is the sincerest endeavour of the firm to set new milestones of growth for itself and strive hard to accomplish them. For the present, the firm has a workforce of twenty dedicated staff.It is running three branches at three locations, each haeded by a partner.All the three premises are owned by the firm or its partners and these are reasonably well euipped with modern communication and other tools. In view of the policy of the firm all the three branches are in up-gradation mode.The firm has a satisfied client base of over 200 and these comprise of small,medium and large sectors.
