Shantanu Saha - Chief Executive Officer
As the CEO of The Recruiters, Shantanu guides and executes the overall strategic vision of building the company as one of the leading recruitment service providers in India. With around a decade of experience in human resource and as a pioneer for recruitments in leading BPO companies Shantanu has an immaculate understanding and execution prowess to deliver the goods.
This expertise can be seen in the way he has served and lead the human resource function in companies like ABB, Oberoi’s, Daksh and Global Vantedge. At ABB, Shantanu apart from serving in various units around the country also headed the HR function for a Joint Venture company with sole responsibility of establishing the HR function ground up. He was a part of the start up team at Daksh where he was instrumental in hiring 1500 employees in a span of just over six months for which he was awarded with the Daksh leadership award in the year 2001. He also headed HR for one of the Business Units at Daksh.
With the passion to repeat what was done in Daksh, Shantanu also joined Global Vantedge as a part of it’s start up HR team as Asst. Vice President Human Resources. He was instrumental in setting up the HR systems and processes and hiring around 1000 employees here as well.
The experience of more than ten thousand interviews, a deep understanding of the requirements of the services sector and a passion to build something ground up resulted in the creation of The Recruiters.
Shantanu holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and a master's degree in Business Administration.

At The Recruiters we follow the following hiring process to service our clients' executive recruitment needs:
Understand the client needs thoroughly and create job descriptions for each position using our pre-defined formats.
Assist the client to help us in identifying critical competencies for the position. We aim to closely understand the competence and retention factors for each client requirement and incorporate the same in our hiring process.
Identify areas, institutions, sectors and companies to source the candidates that best match the clients needs.
Source suitable candidates through headhunting, our own advertising, or through our exhaustive databases. We can also undertake a comprehensive advertisement campaign on behalf of a client and manage the entire response if the client so wishes.
Screen each candidate on the competencies identified, expectation match in terms of candidates aspirations vis-a-vis the job, apart from making an assessment of the stability of the candidate before putting forth a candidate to a client.
Schedule interviews with the client at the client's venue or at our office.
Client feedback on the process, as well as the productivity of our candidates post hire, shall help us to continuously upgrade and streamline the hiring process.
