Digital Design is the first software company in Russia to be ISO 9001 certified and to achieve CMMI Level 3, as well as the first one to receive the National Quality Award from the Russian Government. Today, Digital Design is a member of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) and supports actively EFQM in its mission to be the driving force for sustainable excellence in Europe.

As an acknowledgement of Digital Design systematic approach to quality management principles, Digital Design was given, therefore entrusted, to implement a new service for software development companies – a pre-assessment of software development processes. The service was realized in frames of the ICT Connector Project Russia and by request of the International Finance Corporation (IFC, Washington, USA).

TERMS
Digital Design rates for the services are EUR 22-30 man/hour and depend on the qualification of the staff and complexity of the project. Individual approach to project cost estimation is always used including fixed price, time & material-based agreements, and personal business schemes to, for example, optimize export taxes, and provide discounts for returned clients and so on.

Fixed-Price Agreement

This type of contract means that the project in question is described in the available documentation in sufficient detail, thus enabling Digital Design to estimate the scope and complexity of the project and to provide a fixed price. In this case, the technical documentation, the project delivery schedule and the final price are stipulated in the contract.

When the project scope cannot be precisely envisioned at the moment another type of contact is used:

Time & Material – based Agreement

For projects, in which the scope of work can vary during the project implementation, a Time & Material contract is signed.
