ORGANIZATIONAL DESCRIPTION
A. Background
Brokenshire Learning Systems, Inc. (BLS) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Brokenshire Collge (www.brokenshire.edu.ph). Located at Brokenshire College campus in Davao City, Philippines, BLS operates the Davao ICT Incubation Center, provides software solutions, and is engaged in business process outsourcing such as medical transcription.

B. Major Products & Services
Currently, the products and services of BLS can be categorized into three:
a. ICT Incubation Center
– a joint venture with 3G Communications aimed at developing entrepreneurship in the IT Industry. The center incubates start-up businesses involved in IT. Interested individuals can stay in the center for one year and are provided free space good for 5 or 6 persons, free use of telephone, free utilities, free internet connection and other services in exchange for a share in the equity of the newly-formed organization.

b. Enterprise-level Software Products and Services
These are products & services which can be marketed to BPO companies. These include products developed by the locators such as SegAccounting as well as products and services to which BLS has access to such as Business Process Hosting & Consultancy. The services also include the technical expertise of the locators particularly in programming and web content development.

c. Transcription Services.
This is BLS initial venture in the Business Process Outsourcing Industry. The Transcription Services is a 21-seat production facility and capable of handling around 10,000 lines per day. It has an internet connection of 1 mbps and uses Savvion Business Manager to run its transcription process. BLS also works closely with Brokenshire College in operating the BC Medical Transcription Academy.
