ACUMEN Systems mission is to provide its clients highest level of quality transcription services, and medical records management. This we intend to accomplish by maintaining a dedicated team of expert medical transcriptionists (TESDA accredited) backed up by latest hardware and continuous software development..



All medical transcription work carried out at ACUMEN Systems goes through levels of thorough word-by-word check for any omissions, corrections, formatting, before sending to clients. We have medical editors to improve the quality of medical transcription at the base level.).



Our System



Your digital voice files are placed directly on clients’ computer (FTP) from digital recorder units, we will set up a secure Internet FTP (file transfer protocol) address for you for uploads and downloads. File formats to which transcribed files are to follow are customized depending on our clients’ needs.



We will transmit finished reports to clients by secure encrypted e-mail, secure FTP (file transfer protocol).



ACUMEN Systems currently has the capacity to process 300 minutes length of dictation per 8 hour shift. A turn around time of 3-6 hrs can be arranged maintaining at least 97% accuracy.



Types of Medical Transcription Reports Accepted:



- History and Physical examination reports

- Consultation reports

- Progress reports (SOAP notes)

- Hospital reports (Operative report, pathology report, autopsy report, radiology report, discharge summary)



· Completed work sent back via secure and encrypted email or secure FTP

directly to you



· Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.



Our Contracts



We offer a wide array of services to suit the needs of our clients. The following contract options may be negotiated;



Contract Term: From three months to one year or on an as “needed� basis
Fees: This may be on a per minute of dictation, or per line basis.
Turn Around Time (TAT). This can be as short as three hours for medical charts to a maximum of three days (72 hours) for medical records.
Accuracy Levels. We guarantee the highest quality when it comes to our transcription work.
We accept dictation files in a wide variety of standard and non-standard dictation formats. We can process all types of .WAV, .MP3, .VOX, .VOC, and other dictation recorded via non-standard recording formats (.AUD, Mu-Law, A-Law).
Transcribed files will be in either .DOC or Rich Text format using MS Word. Templates will be used based on the client’s specifications.

To test our capabilities we allow a “test run� of your voice files free of charge for three consecutive days under strict confidentiality. .
