DESCRIPTION
Optimum Outsourcing was established in 2003 as a typical BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) company, with the objective of providing “Transcription Services for lawyers” . The corner stone of the company (with holding company in Luxembourg) was its Mauritian Service Center, hosted in the so-called Silicon Valley of Mauritius, named “Cybercity Mauritius”.
This infrastructure allowed Optimum Outsourcing to make a jump start and to achieve an annual rev. of 500K+ Euro (positive rating Dun&Bradstreet), also helped by the following additional advantages:

1) BPO
Optimum Outsourcing has acquired a lot of knowledge and expertise in this domain since Optimum Outsourcing was established 5 years ago. The BPO domain will continue to be the major safe contributor to the revenue stream.

2) Software development
Current market surveys assure that in the next 3 years “Offshore Software Development” will remain a “booming” domain.
Most of the contracts in this are project based (6-9 months), but in an end stage can generate some follow-up BPO type of activities.
The projects do show a high revenue figure compared to the number of Full Time Equivalents working on it. This domain has to cope with the extremely high speed of change in Information Technology, specialisms (php, java, dot net, Web2.0, …) and the ability the use a number of different methodologies (Agile/Waterfall Project Methodologies, …) is an absolute must.
Optimum Outsourcing has successfully implemented processes to cope with the “Speed of Change”, “Specialism” and “Methodological Approach” principles; as a result Optimum Outsourcing got awarded this year with the request to development a “YouTube-like” website, to be launched in October 2008 on a global basis.

3) Call Center
On different occasions, Optimum Outsourcing’s End-to-End delivery model has resulted in requests from our customers/lead/prospects to deliver pre-financed Outbound Call Center activities (CRM, …).

4) Consultancy
Although companies do take strategic decisions which confirm usage of outsourcing/ best shoring, the next hurdle is “how to do this”.
The Optimum Outsourcing consultancy track provides services in guiding the customers in their offshore sourcing projects, for this exercise the consultants use the in-house developed, approved Sourcing+ methodology, which was already successfully applied at many occasions.
