DESCRIPTION
JSM Technologies - We provide Detailed Ship Design
1. Preparation of Classification Drawings
Based on the customers inputs we can make the drawings like the shell expansion, Midship section, farming sections, Decks etc required for the classification.
We have produced these basic drawings for a Corvette.
2. Hull Modeling.
Creation of the detailed ship model using Curved and Planar hull modeling modules of TRIBON. The input for hull modeling is the faired surface with all of the seam and longitudinal trace curves exported, and the classification drawings. The Curved Modeling involves making of the shell seams, Shell longitudinals and the curved panels. All the curved panels to be developed with marking to make them in plate parts. The Planar hull modeling would involve defining the panel boundary, seams according to the plate sizes, stiffeners, cutouts, clips, notches, brackets, pillars and all other such details. Position numbers are added for all plates and profiles. Once the block is modeled it would be split to form the plate parts to be used for nesting later. Parts lists are generated
We have executed a project of hull modeling for a Landing Ship of 5600 tons dwt., presently working on a Indian Navy Corvette
3. Plate Nesting.
All the plate parts are nested on raw plates block wise in a manner such that they optimize the plate utilization and the CNC machine traverse. The CNC cutting and marking information for each plate is made.
We have executed a project of hull modeling for a Landing Ship of 5600 tons dwt, where the raw plate size varied from 1500*5000 to 2000* 10000 and thickness from 3.15 mm to 20 mm., presently working on an Indian Navy Corvette
4. Equipment seat modeling.
Based on the footprint of the equipment and the existing ship structure at the location of the said equipment the seating for the equipment is modeled. The scantlings are used based on the equipment, its operation and the strength requirements and the material availability. Position numbers are added for all plates and profiles. Detailed production drawing is made and the seating is split of form plate and profile parts, which can be nested. Parts lists are generated.
We have executed a project for seating modeling for a Landing Ship which involved making of over 350 seating, 200 seats for a FAC.
5. Compartment wise outfit (Pipe, Ventilation, Equipment and Cable) modeling.
All the equipment are placed on the seatings provided. Based on the schematic drawing of a pipe system and the GA of the ship the pipe routing is done for each system. All the components defined in the system drawing are used. The pipes are bent based on the bending data of the bending machine to be used.
The Ventilation and the AC system is modeled as per the schematic diagrams.
The cable trays and bulkhead penetrations (Glands) are modeled as the Main cable route plan. In the compartment first all the electrical equipment are placed. Based on the equipment location and the number of cable passing through the tray the cable trays are routed inside the compartment.
All the other sundry items like doors, table, bunkers etc are placed as per requirement. Collision checks are run to ensure there is no hard or soft collision.
The compartment detailed lay out drawing is made along with the detailed part list.
Cables are routed through the cable trays. Cable rote list is made. Pipe sketches with the bending information are made.
We have modeled over 100 compartments for a Ro Ro Ship. The compartments we modeled ranged from Machinery compartment to Dinning rooms and dormitories.
JSM Technologies has got a good understanding of the shipyard processes.
