The Damani group acquired Jamshri in 1953, and since then has run the mill successfully, always-maintaining stress on quality and customer satisfaction. We are ISO 9001:2000 certified and have won several awards for excellence in exports from the Government over the last two decades.

Along with adding spinning capacity, we have redefined our product focus looking to the changing scenario of the textile industry in India. We now concentrate mainly on spinning yarn and adding value by further processing our yarn as terry towels and fabrics for both local as well as export sales.

We are also no considering a foray into Business Process Outsourcing field (BPO) which has become a very strong service provided by Indian companies for the world market requirements in order to reduce their business costs without compromising on their business operational quality.

Solapur is one of the fast growing small cities in Maharashtra. It is very well located as it is only 4 hours from Pune and 5 hours from Hyderabad. It has good railway connections. There is a huge bank of educated manpower due to the availability of high grade educational institutions. Solapur also has an extremely competent bank of engineering colleges, medical colleges, degree colleges as well as technical training institutions. In fact a lot of the youth of Solapur are currently employed in BPO outfits in Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore etc.
