PCB CAM Pre Engineering Service

Hi:

Based in India, we have extensive experience( over 20 years) in PCB manufacturing and Testing with state of the art test facilities.

While we are setting up a BPO( Business Process Outsourcing) in the areas of PCB CAM Pre Engineering ( Pre Fab) services, we solicit interested parties to oursource work to us for a quick turnaround. The facilities will include cutting edge software, workstations and experienced delivery mechanism.

Our immediate scope will be :

1. Automated planning, job analysis, editing and workflow management ensures timely and accurate processing of bare board data & also quick turn around time.


2.Quote Data Processing (QDP)

activity generally includes the following; however, this is customized to each customer's requirements:
• Download and screen customer supplied electronic data (Gerber files, drawings, etc.). • Verify that the customer supplied information is complete and the job is well within the pre-set manufacturability limits. • Prepare and send a clarification note, as per an agreed template, if the information is in-complete or the job is not within the manufacturability limits. • Complete a quote request form by either remotely accessing the quote system in use, or in a pre-determined format that can be easily or automatically read. • Offer i-Quote script modification and maintenance services for i-Quote users. • Strict pricing rule confidentiality.

3. Pre-CAM

activity generally includes the following; however, this can be customized to each customer's requirements:
• Read customer supplied electronic data (Gerber files, drawings, etc.) in any recognized format. • Align all layers. • Re-name layers as per pre-determined naming conventions. • Assign layer attributes. • Drawn to flash pad conversions. • Contour drawn or filled areas. • Assign feature attributes. • Perform any other customer specific operations. • Prepare any other customer specific reports. • Output data in ODB ++, or any other customer specific format.

4. Front End Engineering (CAM) & Post-CAM:

Design Rule Checks / Inspection
We run an exhaustive list of design rule checks for all boards to avoid error that can possibly cause board scrap. All features are thoroughly checked for violations before the board is panelized

Some of the checks are:
• Minimum air gap. • Minimum trace. • Open trace/Dangling traces • Power to ground short detection • Annular ring verification • Expose Trace. • Fab-to-Gerber mismatch.

Editing / 1Ups
Large number of DFM (Design for Manufacturability) actions has to be performed on various layers, such as signal, solder mask, silk screen layers to ensure productivity.
