BPO Certification Institute (BCI) is world’s largest competency certification company in the BPO domain offering certification for BPO professionals and research/advisory services to the global outsourcing industry. To take you back slightly into our history, though BCI eventually hatched out only in 2004 in Texas, we were in the making for almost three years – ever since business process outsourcing began growing into a worldwide wave from what was a mere ripple of a management concept. In 2001, we could vividly imagine, what the global outsourcing industry actually began experiencing in 2004 – an acute paucity of well-trained, ethical and efficient professionals across all levels – associates, team leaders and other front-line managers.

And that’s why when BCI started its full blown operations it was armed with a whole host of research results, competency and skills maps, BPO domain insights and a vast array of hiring and development case studies in BPO/outsourcing outfits in Ireland, Canada, India, Philippines, Malaysia, Brazil, Russia and from everywhere else where BPO had gotten big. We were also ready with a spanking new framework of Certifications and Competency Credentialing for talents working across processes, levels and responsibilities in the BPO industry.
